Supporting our Residents Spiritual Needs

Ever since the start of lockdown and the various COVID-19 restrictions two years ago, it has been a challenge getting external professionals into our home to offer their services. This has included our local ministers and clergy.

Supporting the faith of our residents is important to us, and is one of the many things we try to support no matter what challenges we may face. During the lockdown period, we have kept our spiritual services going as often as possible at Trinity House. Our residents greatly appreciate this time to reflect, share their views on life and sing some well-known hymns and songs. It's incredible seeing residents remember hymns from their childhood.

While we ensure to look after residents from all faith traditions, as well as those who don't follow a faith, our local parish church in North Leith, and there are also other denominations in the area.

We are delighted to announce that from March 2022, our residents will be able to benefit from the service of our local clergy once more. North Leith church is currently without a minister, but we understand that services are being covered by a rota of local ministers.

We look forward to being able to welcome a variety of people into our home who will help to support our residents with their spiritual journey. If you would like more information on the services we provide at Trinity House, please do not hesitate to contact our helpful team.
