Summer Fete Fun

This summer was packed full of lots of fun and exciting activities for our residents to do. At Trinity House Care Home, we know how important it is to enjoy the little things in life with the people we hold closest.
On the 18th of July, we held our annual Summer Fete and were joined by lots of lovely families, friends and members of the local community to join us in raising money for our Residents' Fund, which helps us continue to provide enriching and memorable activities and social outings for our residents.

In care homes across the UK, it is essential to provide residents with a wide range of activities and entertainment to promote their physical, emotional and social wellbeing. Meaningful activities can help residents stay active, maintain independence, develop friendships and enjoy a greater sense of purpose and belonging.
We were lucky enough to have a day filled with sunshine whilst we enjoyed a variety of stalls, entertainment and good company. Our residents also contributed to our success by helping run one of the stalls, serving delicious treats to our visitors and keeping conversations flowing all day!
The lovely Sarah Sings also joined us for the afternoon and provided plenty of entertainment for our guests by performing live music, which created a fantastic atmosphere.

We are incredibly delighted to announce that the Summer Fete raised an amazing £407, all of which will go towards creating unforgettable memories for our residents. A huge thank you to everyone who attended, helped with the preparations, ran stalls, donated or supported us on the day. Nothing would have been possible without our amazing community!
