Residents with Kittens

Some Very Welcomed Visitors

Last week, the residents and staff of our home had a delightful visit from Sonic, Cleo, Jamal the Monkey, and Asta; some kittens that belonged to one of our domestic team members.

The ragdoll kittens were due to go off to their forever homes, but not before they very kindly visited us here at Trinity House. The residents and staff played with the kittens and gave them a pet and a cuddle, which certainly brought a smile to their faces.

As well as entertaining our residents in the lounges, the kittens made a grand tour of the whole home so that those residents who were in their rooms didn’t miss out on interacting with the furry friends.

At Trinity House Care Home, we welcome any and all opportunities to spend time with animals as it is something our residents really love to do.

We strongly believe that animals can touch our hearts in a way that people often do not. Pet therapy benefits our residents greatly, boosting their mood, alleviating stress, and improving social and motor skills. It also encourages our residents to get involved with activities that contribute to an enriched social and active lifestyle.

If you would like to find out more about the activities that we hold or the care services we provide at Trinity House care home then we welcome you to get in touch with our friendly team.
