Trinity House’s Resident Ambassador

Trinity House Care Home has appointed resident Jean to be our home's Resident Ambassador. Jean spends her mornings in the home delivering the newspapers and the mail to each resident. Jean is always a helping hand in the home and has always been a voice for our residents. The role will involve supporting other residents to also have a voice within the home.

Jean will meet regularly with the management team and help enhance life at Trinity House for all. She will also be involved in the home's community engagement team to help find ways of maintaining and enhancing community involvement.

Jean has lived at Trinity House for around 2 years, we asked her what her favourite part of living here and she said everything and anything. Jean is looking forward to being a voice for the home. We are so grateful to have such a wonderful resident who dedicates her time to helping others at Trinity House Care Home in Edinburgh.

Jean absolutely loves her new role as she feels it has given her a sense of purpose and she likes to keep busy. We look forward to seeing what positive changes can be implemented following regular discussions.
