Located in North Edinburgh, our three-storey home has been thoughtfully considered and designed to enhance the beautiful architecture of the home whilst incorporating modern amenities to provide residents with everything they need. Our home is also perfectly situated to reap the benefits of the local communities of Trinity and Leith, with supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and parks all within a 10-minute drive. Residents of Trinity House are also provided with ample opportunities to explore the great outdoors, connect with nature and take a moment’s peace. Our private gardens have outdoor seating, raised flower beds, and bird feeders, offering a calming and tranquil space, ideal for our residents with dementia. Out of the home and just a couple of minutes away is Victoria Park, an area where residents can walk, picnic, and admire the bounty of nature, or take their grandchildren to enjoy the play parks.
Less than a 20-minute drive away is Scotland’s impressive capital city, Edinburgh. A city steeped in history and culture, residents are able to take full advantage of living near the breath-taking capital as our activities team often plans excursions into the city centre. From browsing the variety of shops in the Old and New Towns of Edinburgh and historical visits to Edinburgh Castle to indulging in a real Scotch Whisky Experience and the finest eateries like The Gardener’s Cottage, there is something here for everyone to enjoy. Our activities team is mindful to ensure our activity programme is dementia-friendly and inclusive, and they go to great lengths to learn about our resident’s hobbies so that they too can be incorporated.
