Arts & Crafts

We at Trinity House Care Home are dedicated to ensuring that our residents live happy and fulfilled lives. We are thrilled to provide a wide range of activities and entertainment for our residents, including our engaging arts and crafts classes organised by our Activities Coordinator.

Residents will guarantee to have fun no matter what they make, and no matter their skill set. Being creative also has a wealth of emotional and physical benefits for our residents.

Creativity And Its Benefits

We highly urge all residents to actively participate in as many of our arts and crafts workshops as possible, regardless of the theme. There are many benefits to arts & crafts as we have found that those who participate in regular arts and crafts are happier and more socially connected. It also suggests that partaking in a creative activity improves hand-eye coordination, memory, and motor abilities, as well as getting to know others that you may not have had the opportunity to previously.

Utilise Your Surroundings

For our arts & crafts worktops, we often look at our surroundings for inspiration, after all, our surroundings and staff are what make our care home so special. Whether it’s creating mandalas using stones in our garden or making scented handmade soaps, there’s so much fun to be had. The sessions we organise always have our residents in mind, and we welcome any suggestions from them so that we can incorporate new creative activities going forward.
