Trinity House Care Home offers a warm, welcoming environment with a variety of unrivalled care services and amenities. Residents are fully equipped to make the most of their stay, from our weekly late-night bingo to pamper time in our Hair Salon.

Our residential care home in Edinburgh has been built with our residents in mind. Residents are able to spend time with like-minded people who also thrive living an active and varied lifestyle. Whether it’s playing games, going for a beach stroll, or visiting the botanical gardens, we have it all covered in our activities programme.

Luxury Suites

All of the en-suite bedrooms here at Trinity House Care Home have been finished to the greatest of standards, ensuring that residents have a pleasant and luxurious stay. Nurse call systems, and temperature controlled central heating and water are all included in the suites. Each room includes a single bed which promises a comfortable night’s sleep and also an en-suite bathroom. Residents can completely personalise their room by incorporating personal decorations if desired.

Dining

Every day, our brilliant chef and his kitchen team prepare tasty, varied, and healthy meals. Seasonal menus are prepared and adapted to the preferences of our residents. In our dining rooms family and friends are always invited to join us for meals and to spend quality time with their loved ones. If a celebratory occasion is coming up then a private dining space can be arranged. We cater to all tastes, whether residents want an afternoon tea in the garden or cafe bar, elegant dining with friends, or a quiet TV evening.

Private Gardens 

Our home has a charming private garden which heavily features beautiful flowers and foliage for a relaxing setting. Residents can participate in gardening activities which include planting and tending to our flower beds and plants, and refilling the bird feeder for the wildlife. The patio area is equipped with garden furniture that allows for al fresco dining when the weather permits.

Hair Salon 

From a wash and perm to a foot massage and spa bath, our Hair Salon provides everything residents need to feel pampered. Residents needn’t worry about not looking and feeling their best as our hair services are included in the overall costs. Our hairdressers are available Monday to Friday and residents can make appointments if they wish to.

Cinema

Our extensive film library spans a wide range of genres and includes everything from black-and-white classics to more contemporary flicks, leaving our residents spoilt for choice. Arts & Crafts

Our arts & crafts workshops are popular with all of our residents, as well as friends and family members. Often our arts & crafts often incorporate seasonal events such as Easter and Christmas, where our residents have a great time preparing and decorating our home for the upcoming holiday. Our residents benefit greatly from our workshops as they improve physical and mental wellbeing, therefore we actively encourage each and every one of them to participate in getting creative with the team.

Varied Activities Programme

Our three dedicated Activity Coordinators ensure that our residents have something engaging to do at all times. Trips to the countryside, farms, and shopping malls, as well as coffee mornings and quizzes, sing-a-longs, and fetes, are just a few of the possibilities here at Trinity House. Our activity programme is seven days a week so that residents always have the choice of spending time with friends doing something fun. 

We also invite singers into our home each week and residents enjoy the music while enjoying their cocktail of choice.

Library

Our Library is a light and spacious room, with a large bookcase full of classic novels and newer literature for all the book lovers who stay with us. We actively encourage all residents to read as it has fantastic mental benefits such as increased critical thinking and memory. With its cosy armchairs, it’s the ideal place to unwind and enjoy a good book, and a cup of tea.
