A Puppet Performance
In March our residents at Trinity House Care Home enjoyed a puppet performance from Elvis, Dolly Parton and a friendly skeleton! As a part of our activities programme, this activity was an opportunity for all of our residents to gather together, building the relationships within our care home.
Our varied activities programme is also an opportunity for our staff and residents to invite young family members within our home to enjoy the entertainment we have to offer. On this occasion, Mason, the son of our Clinical Lead Abbie, came to enjoy the puppet performance as well as being a fantastic companion to our residents.
At Trinity House Care Home our activities coordinator offers a varied activities programme that involves our resident's favourite hobbies as well as encourages our residents to try something new. There are many benefits to our residents joining in on our activities programme. It encourages residents to socialise and connect with other fellow residents, as well as improve their self-esteem and confidence.
Our activities programme allows our residents at Trinity House to make the most out of each and every day, from joining in on day excursions in the area of Edinburgh, movie afternoons in our Cinema, Arts & Crafts sessions and many more.
Our activities programme not only has many mental benefits but it also encourages our residents to stay active and stimulated whilst making use of the fantastic selection of facilities we have to offer, for example, our residents often enjoy taking a leisurely stroll in our Private Gardens to get a breath of fresh air admiring the beautiful flower beds.
If you would like to find out more information regarding the varied activities programme we have to offer at Trinity House Care Home, then please feel free to get in touch and we will be more than happy to help.
