At Trinity House Care Home, we are happy to provide Dementia Care that is individually tailored to each person. We’re proud to say we stand out from the rest for multiple reasons, one in particular is down to our home manager Ann, with her expertise, knowledge and training within dementia care, she is our in house specialist along with the rest of our highly trained Dementia Care team; everyone has received professional and specialised training in dealing with all aspects of Dementia. We are devoted to providing every opportunity for staff to continue training and expanding their knowledge in this sector, to make sure we deliver only the best dementia care and attention to each and every one of our residents.
Within our care home, we don’t have specific units for certain care types, we promote mixed living, which benefits our dementia residents by promoting a healthy lifestyle, living with others. We ensure dementia doesn’t define our residents, it encourages everyone to live well. Our Care Teams and Activity Coordinators go above and beyond, talking with our dementia residents and their loved ones to identify activities and therapies that are appropriate for their specific needs in order to fully understand what is required. It can be difficult to know what to expect from dementia care in a care home, but we are here to reassure you that it can change someone’s life for the better. Trinity House Care Home also has an open-door policy where loved ones can visit at any time of day.
